The extension reads text already visible in your browser to compute local heuristics and draw on-screen highlights. Page content is not sent to any server.
Settings you change (thresholds, domain scores, phrases, and UI toggles) are stored locally using chrome.storage.local. You may clear this via your browser.
The extension uses only its packaged defaults. It does not contact third-party services.
